1811 Shop & Bar Room is Hiring!
We're looking for a part-time bar room server to join our team! This is a position that is perfect for someone looking to pick up some extra hours. If you're excited to talk to new people (a people person), learn about craft cocktails and share your new found knowledge with others...let's talk!
Applicants with a passion for craft cocktails are preferred. Bar experience is not required, but you must be a fast learner and able to operate independently.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Educating customers on craft cocktails, their history and our approach. This is not a bartending job and the ability to learn and then communicate about cocktails, their styles, and how we craft our drinks is imperative.
-Guiding customers through cocktail menu
-Providing exceptional service to customers throughout their time in the bar room by ensuring they have everything they need
-Inspiring customers and employees with your positive, problem-solving attitude
-Opening/closing and bar room admin responsibilities
-Cleaning/organization around the bar room
-Helping assemble snack boards, other food items when bar room is busy
-Helping customers in the retail shop, as needed
Hours of potential availability required for this position are Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings from 4:30-11:15pm. A flexible schedule through the week can afford lots of additional hours as this position can also assist with cashier, merchandising and other responsibilities in the retail shop on varying days throughout the week as well. We have lots of opportunities depending on your background.
1811 Shop & Bar Room is a combined concept housewares shop and craft cocktail lounge that raises the bar, if you will, on the shopping and socializing experience.
